Kodumudi Balambal Sundarambal (1908-1980) was an Indian theatre and film actress and singer from Erode district, Tamil Nadu. Jaspinder Narula (born 14 November 1970) is an Indian singer of playback, classical and Sufi music. Born with severe vision impairment, Delage studied music for 10 years under renowned French composer Joseph Maurice Ravel. Aside from the film music, she is a regular in the independent music scene, performing with various bands over the years dabbling in Pop, R’n’B, trip-hop and jazz.She has also been performing and releasing music independently in multiple languages. Along with Ahmed Rushdi, she holds the record for having given voice to the largest number of film songs in the history of Pakistani cinema. Curiously titled ‘Chappan Churi’ because of the 56 scars that were allegedly made on her face by a lover who felt rebuffed when she did not respond, Janki Bai of Allahabad was one of the most leading Hindustani vocalists and most popular singers to record on the gramophone. She has been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as well as by the Asia Book of Records for performing a record number of songs in different Indian languages. The main capital of his empire was located at Puruṣapura in Gandhara, with another major capital at Kapisa. She became the sole voice of Kangana Ranaut in the 2013 musical Rajjo.

Shweta Mohan (born 19 November 1985) is an Indian playback singer. Neha Bhasin (born 18 November 1982) is an Indian singer and songwriter. She was also the first female playback singer to get a National Award In AR Rahman Music. The song bish, for which she won the national award, was composed by the band Kaya. She is the recipient of a National Film Award, Filmfare Award and many more awards. She has received two Filmfare and Surat escorts one National Awards. Starting in 1957 with the Tamil film Vidhiyin Vilayattu, her career has spanned over six decades.Janaki, who is fondly called "The Nightingale of South India", has won nine National Film Awards and 33 different State Film Awards. Her show Raater Otithi ruled the airwaves over a decade.
