It also has a self-emptying bin as well as powerful suction, and support for virtual boundaries. It's the best robot hoover for carpets, although it's not as effective as some rivals in deep cleaning.

With an elegant circular design that looks like a regular Roomba rather than the boxy units this robot vacuum and mop combo is one of the most attractive looking models in our evaluations. iRobot’s latest flagship model is also among its most advanced. It has advanced features such as Enhanced Dirt Detection as well as future compatibility (another company’s robot that can wash mop pads in a self-cleaning manner).

It's also the only robot vacuum/mop that scored an absolute 10 out of 10 in our evaluations. This is thanks to a combination high-tech sensors, including a structured light system, a camera, and a variety of lasers. 4. iRobot Roomba L20 Ultra

For larger houses it's worth looking for a model with spot or zone cleaning modes that allow you to tell the robot to clean one particular area of your house using the app or voice commands.
